Charles Price was an evangelist with a powerful healing ministry during the early 1920's until the late 1940's throughout the US and Canada.

He began as a liberal Congregationalist minister who did not believe in the Bible as the Word of God. In 1921 a member of his church described how he had gone to a revival led by Aimee Semple McPherson in San Jose, California where he was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Price decided to attend the meetings to gather evidence to repudiate this Pentecostal deception. On the third night he was seated on the platform with other pastors and God touched his heart. When the alter call came for sinners to be saved, Dr. Price responded. He was filled with joy.

He attended some "tarrying meetings" a Baptist church and received the "filling of the Spirit" a few nights later, and began to speak "with other tongues".

Dr. Price immediately returned to his church and gave his testimony.A revival broke out and here began one of the most powerful healing ministries of the early Pentecostal period.

He preached to thousands of people seeing huge numbers of people saved and healed all over America and Canada. In the late 1930's he ministered further afield in Europe and he Middle East.

This amazing book teaches much about the inner requirements and demands of such a powerful healing ministry.
