Miller is well known for his first book on the Argentine revival called 'Thy God Reigneth' but this current book is less-known and quite rare. From the introduction: What has been happening in Argentina since the time of the Hicks revival in Buenos Aires?" is the question many have asked who have read the story of revival told in "Thy God Reigneth".

The writing of "The Flaming Flame" is my answer to that question. It is the sharing of the continued and glorious workings of divine grace and mercy copiously poured out upon this land - the southernmost land of the world - from 1954 to 1968. Is it by accident or by divine design that the southernmost part of Argentina is called Tierra del Fuego or "Land of the Fire"?
