Ill health was no stranger to the Fox family, so when their liberal Pastor shared his experience of witnessing God’s power to heal at a Charles Price meeting in 1923, the family needed little encouragement to attend.

Lorne’s father was prayed for and healed of gallstones and a hernia.  Next was his sister whose suffered with poor vision tuberculosis a leg which had been six inches shorter than the other. She was instantaneously made whole.  Up to this time Lorne had endured 19 heart attacks and was 90 per cent helpless.  Though a number of doctor’s reckoned his illness and hopeless Lorne also experienced instant healing.

Fox began to serve in Charles Price’s ministry by giving his testimony before developing his own healing ministry. He became popular in the 1947-1957 Healing Revival and connected with the "Voice of Healing" movement under the watchful eye of Gordon Lindsay.

He later travelled worldwide and continued his healing-evangelism meetings where he saw thousands come to Christ and receive physical healing, into the mid-1960’s.
